In terms of the set up of the camera and final audio recording equipment goes, I used a Canon 5D MKII. I always used a tripod to ensure there was no camera shake inorder to put all the attention on the subject, I decided that although a shaky camera angle would suit this video, the crispness and lighting worked better with a tripod to steady the camera. I used a marantz vocal recording device with a lapel mic attached to a receiver which I places on Phil. The other receiver was attached to my camera. This set up was great and really enabled me to get clear audio.
