Below is the final exported clip from a premier pro workshop with John, the technical support teacher. This workshop really helped me to get to grips with the software which I haven't used for over 3 years.
We went through basic operations such as importing media, dropping the onto the timeline, cueing parts of vido and audio, transitions and also effects. We basically had an overview of how to use the software. This was great because as mentioned in my first post, it helped me to practice and experiment with video footage and the moving image side of the industry.
I am happy with my final outcome from the workshop, it helped me to generate ideas as well as get to grips with the way that a narrative runs in a moving image.
Below are some notes that I took about the technical side of the video and the editing process.
- Frame Aspect Ratio- 3:2
- Means the width and the height
- Landscape format
- Frame Rate/ Timebase E.g. 29.97fps (frames per second)
- Frame Size
- 720 x 576 pixels
- Means the amount of pixels in the size of the video
